The CABAC EMC Locknut series is engineered to enhance the performance of EMC glands in industrial applications. Constructed from nickel-plated, lead-free brass (CuZn21Si3P), these locknuts provide superior corrosion resistance and secure tightening, ensuring optimal electrical contact even through surface coatings. The sharp barbs are specifically designed to cut an earthing path into metal enclosures, effectively penetrating paint layers or powder coatings, which ensures optimal equipotential bonding and increased vibration resistance. When used with CABAC's Brass EMC Metric Glands, the assembly meets the IP68 rating for maximum environmental protection.
