A Trusted Range of Quality Server Racks, Cabinets and Accessories

A server rack is a free-standing or wall-mounted cabinet designed to contain network equipment, such as servers, routers, switches, and associated cabling. The rack enables the storage of your equipment, usually in a server room or similar secure location.

The MSS Data Solutions range of Data Racks and Cabinets is perfect for mounting and safely storing all your network equipment and cable infrastructure. Shop now for server racks and cabinets featuring adjustable rails, removable side panels, rear bi-fold doors and more.

19” Floor Mount Server Racks

These fully assembled, lightweight racks are designed for fast installation. Easily access your equipment via the reversable tempered glass door on the front, the bi-fold doors at the rear or the easy to remove side panels.

Select from a range of options to suit the capacity you need; available in 18 to 45 rack units (RU) and from 600mm up to 1 metre depth.

Wall Mount Data Cabinets

Our range of wall mount data cabinets allow for convenient storage of network equipment at eye level. Save on valuable floor space while maintaining secure, organised network equipment.

With all the features of our popular wall mount design, swing frame data cabinets have an additional feature that allows the cabinet to be swung away from the wall.

Tips for Selecting a Server Rack or Cabinet

Here are some things to consider before selecting and installing your server rack:

  • Check the dimensions of the server to ensure you choose a rack with adequate depth.
  • The cable management required at the side will help you determine the width required.
  • You must keep in mind the rack's type of mounting hole. Mounting holes can be unthreaded, threaded or square holes.
  • The height is determined in “rack units” so it is important to know what the rack will contain to determine the RU required.
  • Keep in mind what the ongoing requirements of the network are likely to be, and consider choosing a rack that has slightly more space than specified to allow for additional equipment that may be needed in the future.

Once you know the depth, height, and width you need, you are ready to start looking at the racks available. For further assistance, check out complete racks catalogue or give our friendly team a call on 1800 328 200.
