Product Description
Cabac 316L Stainless Steel Cable Glands are designed to securely terminate and seal unarmoured PVC, XLPE and synthetic sheathed cables in demanding environments. Manufactured from certified 316L stainless steel, they provide outstanding corrosion resistance and reliable IP68 protection against dust and water ingress. Supplied complete with an NBR O-ring and locknut, the glands feature ISO metric M x 1.5 threads and are ideal for outdoor, marine, coastal and industrial applications where long-term performance and environmental protection are essential.
Material: 316L stainless steel body, PA66 claw and NBR O-ring.
Cable Acceptance: 5 mm to 44 mm.
Temperature Range: Static: –40°C to +100°C (short-term to +120°C). Dynamic: –20°C to +80°C (short-term to +100°C).
Ingress Protection: IP68.
Certifications & Compliance: EN 62444:2013, IP68, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (Annex III) and RoHS 2.
Applications: Suitable for terminating and sealing unarmoured cables in outdoor, marine, coastal and corrosive environments, including wastewater treatment plants, chemical processing facilities, food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, mining, infrastructure and general industrial installations.
